Erie Village
Erie Village is located off North Burdick Street and is about a mile from Fayetteville Towne Center, several restaurants, the YMCA and Green Lakes State Park. It offers a natural setting with a spring fed lake, woods, a nature trail and a beach. Erie Village consists of 145 buildings, which encompasses 488 one and two level homes/units. Some units are built on slabs while others have crawl spaces and basements. All the unit models were named after places along the Erie Canal System: Amsterdam, Bennington, Brantingham, Brockport, Cayuga, Delaware, Eaton, Fairport, Geneva, Hartford, Ithaca, Jordan, Kingston, Lockport, Newport, Ontario, Phoenix, Quincy, Rochester, Saratoga, Skaneateles, Seneca, and Tuscarora.
Erie Village is a not-for profit corporation run as a self managed Homeowners Association (HOA). There are 11 elected Board of Directors and a full time Maintenance Manager. The common area and the building exteriors (with some exceptions) are maintained by the HOA.
